We took a quick drive down to the @wilbrahammansion in Cape May, NJ to celebrate our wedding mini-moon after our wedding brunch in November. Watch our video recap here! My parents graciously opened their home for brunch the Saturday following our wedding for out-of-town guests and relatives to float in and out. Homemade quiches, sticky buns, egg casseroles, bagel and sandwich spreads, fruit, coffee, mimosas, screwdrivers, and Bloody Marys covered their kitchen island as we reminisced on the evening prior.
It was a wonderful opportunity for Ryan and I to catch conversations, hear stories, hug family, and thank our loved ones for making our wedding season so sentimental.
Another magical moment: We had the chance to share Laura's sneak peeks on the TV for all 60 brunch guests to witness the pictures with us for the first time. We laughed, we cried - we oooh'ed and ahhh'ed and it was so special to share that moment with our family!
When we finally made it to Cape May we decided to cancel our dinner reservation and grab a bottle of wine and seafood takeout instead (@docksidedavesnj). We checked in, sat, and talked through the entire weekend from each other's perspective over a bottle of chardonnay from local Mays Landing winery - Balic.
Our stay was absolutely lovely at the Wilbraham - complete with breakfast, afternoon tea, and treats. Sharing some of our stops during our stay - most that we've been visiting for years! We grew up coming down the shore with our families who also treasure good eats, good wine, and a good time.
Fun Fact: Our gorgeous and delicious wedding cake from L&M Bakery in Delran, NJ was topped with a vintage ceramic cake topper found in Cape May, NJ at The West End Garage!

@westendgarage / Beach Plum Cafe Our absolute favorite vintage/antique co-op in NJ. We've been shopping here for years and the cafe attached has delicious coffee and lattes too.
Ladies’ Room Consignment Boutique This woman's collection is absolutely incredible. Every time I stumble in here I find 10 gem pieces I want to take home. Very fair pricing for vintage and secondhand - especially because of location.
I am still dreaming of the scallops. The clam chowder soup. The story these brothers share and the legacy they're carrying on in memory of their Dad is inspiring! Check them out for take-out or outdoor seating.
Beautiful farm distillery with delicious craft cocktails. Tons of outdoor seating and a food truck. Perfection!

Beautiful farm and shop we've been visiting for years. One year we were camping in Cape May and got our pumpkins from Beach Plum! They also offer farm-to-table dinners onsite.

Our mini-moon dinner cooked to perfection. Greeted with champagne and live music. Highly recommend for farm-to-table fine dining and craft cocktails. You can also sit at the bar or on the porch for drinks.

Another go-to favorite! For a quick delicious dinner, we recommend ordering takeout on the back deck instead of sitting in the formal restaurant.
We look forward to visiting Maui this April for our official honeymoon!
