Garden Tour Photos with Dan + Linda.

Garden tour photoshoot ft. native plants, flowers galore, and upcycled treasures around every turn of this gorgeous backyard garden started 25 years ago by Dan and Linda in Berlin, NJ

This June took us back to Berlin, NJ to capture an extra special session with Dan and Linda in their beautiful backyard garden.


A few sips of limoncello and Dan's homemade biscotti paired with espresso, the couple shared their love story and wedding photos from August 11, 1987, on Ocracoke Island.




lucid ladybug hosted a wedding garden party photoshoot in their backyard and fell in love with the oasis hiding behind their quaint home built in 1955. Instead of highlighting models and businesses this year, Meghan decided to capture Dan and Linda instead.



Linda started her garden in 2000 and has tended to it every day since. Gardens are true labors of love, requiring intentionality paired with creativity. There is no shortage of creativity in Linda's garden - from the lush greenery and vibrant flowers to the upcycled trinkets and treasures, Linda's joy for her garden is so evident.




Every twist and turn holds a different treasure to be found - from gnomes and giant lizards to upcycled wood, antique barrels, upcycled glassware, hats, vintage teapots, and pathways laid with repurposed stones - each piece holds a special memory for Linda and Dan.

addition to their flower garden and coy pond, they also grow blueberries, strawberries, figs, tomatoes, peppers, and herbs, to name a few. It was a delight to capture them in their element, plucking from beds and showing me the plants and pieces that make their yard so special.

Dan built the red shed in their backyard using the stable door from their 1950s home.


I am always honored to hear others' stories and humbled to witness and capture the spark that makes each love story unique. Spending the evening with Dan and Linda in their garden was no exception. Cheers to celebrating 38 years of marriage this coming August - we are honored to know you and witness your love!
