Boost your immune system this winter with our homemade wellness shots made with lemons, oranges, ginger + black pepper.
Here's what you'll need:
2 lemons
2 oranges
1 knob of ginger
black pepper
Here's what to do:
Juice two lemons, two oranges, and one large knob of ginger. We love our Nutribullet juicer - a reasonable investment that will save you thousands in the long run! No juicer, no problem. Use a blender and strain the pulp using a cheesecloth or use a good old-fashioned stainless steel hand juicer.
Add a dash of black pepper and whisk.
Pour the juice into a mason jar and store in the fridge for 1-3 days.

Upcycle tip: Before juicing save the peels to dehydrate for homemade vitamin C powder or citrus salt using a food processor!
You can also bag and freeze the pulp to add to muffins, shakes, or teas. We love our reusable stasher bags for fridge and freezer storage.
