NYBFW: Katherine Tash "Heritage" Spring 2026 Collection.

Sitting next to Katherine Tash and hearing firsthand about her "Heritage" Collection was a lovely start to New York Bridal Fashion Week.

Inspired by living in LA and produced entirely in-house in her Santa Monica atelier, Katherine’s Spring 2026 collection pays homage to her roots as a designer. The stunning collection features elegant corestry, intentional draping, fabrics, and dainty details for the modern bride.

Katherine and I spoke of her travels from California to NYC with her family and the joys of sharing her bridal brand and legacy with her newborn daughter.

Woman in elegant white gown stands sideways, eyes closed, in front of a brick wall and white flowers, creating a serene mood.

Every gown is designed and produced in Katherine's 6,000 square foot private atelier in Santa Monica, making Tash "one of the few remaining brands in America to maintain complete in-house production."

Woman in an elegant white lace dress poses confidently by a brick wall, surrounded by lush green and white floral arrangements.

From sketch to final stitch, "each gown is a study in contrast: fluid yet structured, classic yet daring, familiar yet entirely new."

Katherine spoke of her background in evening gowns and how she's always been inspired by the "party dress". She also spoke of the "bride touch," which I found so intentional - paying attention not only to how a bride looks in the shape and silhouette but how the gown feels on her body as well.

"Katherine Tash gowns are all designed with this philosophy in mind. Sourcing the finest fabrics and materials, each Katherine Tash wedding gown is meticulously handcrafted sustainably in Los Angeles, California, by a talented team of local artisans. Luxurious silk fabrics and effortless silhouettes create a collection that embodies the modern woman of today."

The finale gown, "Paloma," featured a bubble skirt that is already trending online for 2026 brides.

We're not sure which was more elegant - the collection or Katherine herself. It was a delight to be in the room for her premiere. Special thank you to Melissa from @mvc.communications for the invitation and to Katherine for her dedication to quality craftsmanship and creativity that's true to her core.

Cheers, Meghan Kennedy
