our vintage valentine's day inspired tablescape + vintage valentine's day decorated tree | by meghan 02/07/23
Love is in the air and we are celebrating all things romantic over here at lucid ladybug!
Ryan and I feel so blessed to celebrate 14 years as each other's valentines! Over the years we've learned our favorite way to celebrate is by sipping + cooking together in our own kitchen - enjoying the peace and comfort of each other's presence is truly enough. Of course flowers, love letters, wine + dark chocolate are always involved! Read more about our love story + conscious wedding planning here on the blog.
We were inspired to share our pink great depression glass collection with romantic dried florals, a unique tapestry + boho place settings for this year's valentine's tablescape. Shop the complete vintage valentine’s day collection here.
vintage valentine tablescape treasures:
• vintage pink ice bucket.
• great depression pink glass plates, side plates + bowls.
• vintage tapestry tablecloth.
• vintage pink lace-trimmed napkins.
• vintage wicker heart napkin rings.
• wicker placemats.
• vintage brass silverware.
• antique brass candlestick holders + ash trays.
• ivory taper candles.
•dried florals: petite red roses, eucalyptus + baby's breath.
•Florence travel book + vintage Boston bartender book.
We transitioned our boho holiday front porch tree to a Valentine's Day tree this year! I had a set of pink ornaments tucked away from when I lived solo + so many vintage red ornaments picked up at markets + fleas over time.
A quick bow switch + tweak of the color palette - voila! The perfect excuse to leave up one of your Christmas trees a bit longer.
Photo features 1876 Cape Cod Ruby Red Avon candlestick holders picked up at the Columbus Flea Market in January. Fun fact: they are actually cologne bottles + are still filled with cologne!
